Thanks for asking...

My first children's book was published in September 2021, but it wasn't the first book I ever wrote. As soon as I learned to read I wrote and illustrated stories for my family. I wanted to be a writer, a ballerina, an artist and a librarian. Two of those things came true!  My hobbies are sewing and practicing yoga and because I love animals I always have pets. I have two cats and a dog, and as a child, I raised rabbits and seahorses!

When I'm not dreaming up stories for young people, you will find me working in libraries or reading outdoors. I love picture books, middle-grade novels, and any kind of non-fiction--especially books about seahorses!
